1. Introduction:
Welcome to the Turtles. We are excited to have you as part of our community. This policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for all members and their families. Please read carefully and ensure that you understand the terms set forth herein.
2. Membership Fees:
a) All members are required to pay a membership fee to join. This fee will cover various expenses such as administrative costs, equipment, facility rentals, coaching fees, and other related activities.
b) Membership fees must be paid in full before the start of the season or as stipulated during the registration process.
c) Fee structures, amounts, and payment deadlines will be communicated to members prior to each season and may be subject to change.
3. No Refund Policy:
a) All membership fees are non-refundable. Once a member has paid their fee, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injuries, change of mind, relocation, or any other personal reasons.
b) In the rare event that the season is canceled or significantly altered due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the club’s control (e.g., natural disasters, global pandemics), the club reserves the right to decide on a course of action, which may or may not include partial refunds or credits towards a future season.
4. Conduct and Behavior:
Members are expected to uphold the values of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity both on and off the field. Any inappropriate behavior may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the club.
5. Attendance and Participation:
Regular attendance at practices, matches, and events is crucial for the growth and development of each member and the team as a whole. Members are expected to notify coaches or team managers in advance if they cannot attend an event.
6. Equipment and Safety:
a) Members must wear the proper equipment during all practices and games. This includes, but is not limited to, helmets, protective pads, and mouthguards.
b) Any damaged or faulty equipment should be reported to the coaching staff immediately. Members are responsible for maintaining and replacing their personal equipment.
7. Communication:
All official communications from the club will be delivered via email or the club's designated communication platform. It is the responsibility of members to regularly check for updates and information.
8. Conclusion:
By joining the Turtles, members agree to abide by all policies and guidelines set forth in this document. The club reserves the right to update or modify these policies as necessary.
